Woodrow "Woody" Walter Webster, 79, of Mathias, WV passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at his residence.

Born on August 24, 1943 in Lost City, WV, he was the son of the late Edward Webster and Eva Webster.

He was a graduate of Mathias High School and served in the U.S. Army.  He was a member of Ivanhoe Presbyterian Church.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Carolyn Webster, Anna Lee Webster, Norma Jean Funkhouser, James Webster, Christine Webster and Patrick Webster.

He is survived by his siblings, John Webster of Mathias, WV, Bessie See of Winchester, VA, Sue Armstrong of Kentucky, Janet Corbin of Martinsburg, WV, Owen "Jack" Webster of Tennessee, 7 nephews, 13 nieces, and 2 special nieces, Mary and Ann Webster.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Baker, WV with Rev. Joel Thorton officiating.  Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Lost City, WV.  The family will receive friends one hour prior.

Memorial donations may be made to McKee Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
