William Michael "Mike" Taylor, II, 69, of Romney, WV passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at his residence with his wife Cindy and daughter Christina by his side.

Born on August 25, 1955 in Elkton, MD, he was the son of the late Brady Taylor and Ruth (Smith) Taylor.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Allen.

He is survived by his wife, of 26 years Cindy K. Taylor of Romney  WV, his children, Michael Taylor, III of Florida, Kelly Taylor of Florida, Christina Clem of Augusta WV, and Sabrina Hose of Fisher WV, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a sister, Connie Shipe.

Mike graduated from Christiana High School in Newark Delaware. He then went on to work with his father, doing sandblasting and painting of tall bridges, towers, and hulls of ships . His work took him to many states across the nation. Mike moved to Romney in the mid 80s where he made many lasting friendships. He worked at Poly One, was a cook at Stray Cat Cafe, and retired as a truck driver. He was member of the Romney Moose Chapter 1371. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing before sustaining a back injury. He also loved camping along the river at Milleson's Campground in the summer with his wife and his beloved 4 Chihuahuas.
