William Ludwick, Jr., 90, of Winchester, VA passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at his residence.

Born on May 10, 1935 in Phillipi, WV, he was the son of the late William Jacob Ludwick and Mary A. Phillips.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ludwick, a son, Larry Ludwick, and his siblings, Clifford and James Ludwick, Madeline Malick, and Mildred Cowgill.

He is survived by his daughter, Julie Shingleton of Augusta, WV, son, Terry Ludwick of Aurora, NC, Ray Pyne of Winchester, VA who he thought of as a son, 9 grandchildren: Justin, Jason, Nathan, Kyle, Heather, Lauren, Catie, Kutter, and Julieanne and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was retired from Rubbermaid.  He enjoyed woodworking and fixing small engines.  He was a member of the Church of Christ at Mountain View.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 6-8pm, at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, WV. Graveside services will be private.
