William Joseph Crane, Jr., 76, of Berkeley Springs, WV passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at his residence.

Born on May 17, 1949 in Great Lakes, Illinois, he was the son of the late William J. Crane, Sr. and Evelina R. (Johns) Crane.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Lucille (Godlove) Crane.

He is survived by his children, William B. Crane (Kelli) of Clever, MO, Brady J. Crane (Sydney) of Ashburn, VA, Renata Bowes (Travis) of Ridge, MD, Rodger Lee Bachtell, Jr. of Clarksburg, WV, his grandchildren, Taylin Jade Bachtell, Aubrey Jo Bachtell, Levi J. Louthian, Cameron C. Louthian, Anthony Crane, Trevor Bowes, Audrey Bowes, Patrick Bowes, Camryn Crane, Courtny Ray, great-grandchildren, Octavia Crane and Gabriella Mettille and his siblings, Susan Reyes, Terri Lamb, Elaine Dixon and Bob Crane.
