Born on November 20, 1948 in Lost City, WV, he was the son of the late John Henry Ayers and Ada Marie Shoemaker Ayers.
He is survived by a brother, Johnny Ayers of Broadway, VA.
Services will be private and handled by McKee Funeral Home, Baker, WV.
