Wanita Marie Wolfe, 78, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on April 12, 1946 in Romney, WV, she was the daughter of the late Russell Montgomery and Opal (Fishel) Montgomery.

Wanita had worked at Pilgrim's Pride.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, talking and shopping.  She attended Cabins Assembly of God Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters and a brother.

She is survived by her children, Chris Wolfe of Maysville, WV, Ruth Baer of Timberville, VA, Jeff Montgomery of Fairmont, WV, a brother, Robert Montgomery of Romney WV and 5 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV with Pastor Don Kesner officiating.  Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, WV.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 6-8pm, at the funeral home.
