Wanda Jane Barnes, 84, of Romney, WV passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at her residence.

Born on April 25, 1939 in Three Churches, WV, she was the daughter of the late Willis C. Haines and Frances Louise (Bowen) Haines.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Dailey Barnes, a son, James P. Barnes, a daughter, Malissa Barnes, and her siblings,  Roger Haines, Carl Haines, Wilson Haines and Hilda Barnes.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Sue Scheuch of Hedgesville, WV and her siblings, Junior Haines, Steve Haines, Sylvia Kesner and Brenda Kesner.

All services will be private and handled by McKee Funeral Home, Romney, WV.
