Seymour Dwayne "Butch" Swisher, 59, of Baker, WV passed away on Friday April 16, 2021 as a result of a vehicle accident.

Born on July 10, 1961 in Pennsylvania, he was the son of Mildred Miller Swisher of Baker, WV and the late Arlyn W. "Bub" Swisher.

Butch worked as a truck driver for Wilkins Trucking. He served in the army from 1979 to 1985. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Kirby, WV and attended Sperry's Run United Methodist Church. He especially liked working on cars and motorcycles.

Surviving with his mother, is his wife Franziska Hulle Swisher, a daughter, Nadine Swisher, siblings, David "Kenny Hartsburg, Louise Henson, Tamar Swisher, Reta Fansler, Adrian Barboza, Jimmy Swisher and Tommy Swisher.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Sperrys Run Church, Baker, WV with Pastor Sherman Tharp officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior.
