Ruth Louise (Wood) Amos,  83, 0f Shanks, WV passed away on Wednesday September 10, 2025 at Hampshire Center, Romney, WV.

Ruth was born on August 12, 1942 in Alexandria, VA, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Wood & Alice Gallagher Wood.

She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth L. Amos,  son –in-law Robert Marsh and two great-grandsons.

Surviving is a daughter, Alice Marsh of Shanks, a brother Herbert Wood (Katherine) of Washington, D.C. three grandchildren, Margaret Noriega (Gabriel) of Texas, Lewis Marsh (Paige) of Front Royal, VA., Richard Marsh (Sara) of Martinsburg, WV and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday September 13, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. in Malick Cemetery, Augusta, WV with Sharon Gresham officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday one hour prior to service at McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
