Rosa May Saville, 91, of Rio, WV passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at E.A. Hawse Nursing and Rehab Center, Baker, WV.

Born on September 27, 1929 in Old Fields, WV, she was the daughter of the late Homer E. Weatherholtz and Martha V. Pratt.

She was a member of Bean Settlement Church of the Brethren and was very active in her community.   She was a 4H All Star, having 45 years of service.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Saville on Dec. 2, 1994 and by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

She is survived by her children, Wendell L. Saville of Rio, WV, Betty M. Funkhouser of Baker, WV, Patsy Vaughn of Moorefield, WV, Phillip Saville of Berkley Springs, WV, Janet Merchant of Cheraw, SC, Andrew Saville of Maysville, WV, Gerald Saville of Baker, WV, Linda Frame of Petersburg, WV, Minnie Shingleton of Old Fields, WV, and Bruce Saville of Petersburg, WV, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, a brother, Phillip Weatherholtz, and 2 sisters, Suzella Bean of Moorefield, WV and Bonnie Shrout of Hickory, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Baker, WV at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Burl Charlton officiating.  Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Baker, WV.

The family will receive friends on Friday, 4-6 pm, at the funeral home.
