Robert Wesley Smith, Sr., 61, of Mathias, WV passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Stonerise, Keyser Healthcare Center, Keyser, WV.

Born on September 3, 1961 in Bergton, VA, he was the son of the late Bobby W. Smith, Sr. and Ethel T. (Combs) Smith.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Katelyn Smith, and a special nephew, Bobby Smith III.

He is survived by his children, Felicia Smith (Dakota Morris) of Mathias, WV, Melanie Moton (Caleb) of Baker, WV, Robert Smith, Jr. of Mathias, WV, Crystal Smith of Timberville, VA, Elizabeth Smith of Broadway, VA, 8 grandchildren, numerous step-children and step-grandchildren, his brothers, Bobby Smith, Jr. of Mathias, WV and Dennis Smith of Timberville, VA and his best friend, Charlie Mongold.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home, Baker, WV with Pastor Dale Smith officiating.  Interment will be in Cullers Run Cemetery, Mathias, WV.  The family will receive friends one hour prior.
