Robert Jerry Carter, 82, of Augusta, WV passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on Marcy 15, 1942 in Leesburg, VA, he was the son of the late Robert Percy Carter and Mary (Morris) Carter.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa L. (Myers) Carter in 2014.

He is survived by his children, Robert Morris Carter of Keyser, WV, Jerry D. Carter of Augusta, WV, David M. Carter of Charlestown, WV, Rhonda M. Moreland, and Christopher Keith Carter, both of Augusta, his siblings, David M. Carter of Hamilton, VA, Carol Luttrell of Front Royal, VA, James Carter of Statesville, NC, 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Carter Family Cemetery.
