Richard William Wolfe, 78, of Daytona Beach, FLA, formerly of Hampshire Co, WV, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024.

Born on July 31, 1945 in Augusta, WV, he was the son of the late Albert "Earl" Wolfe and Audry J. (Daugherty) Wolfe.

Richard was a graduate of Romney High School.  He served in the US Army in Vietnam where he received the Bronze Star. He enjoyed golf, deer hunting, NASCAR, and the beach. He was a proud recipient of the Pilgrim Degree of Merit from the Loyal Order of the Moose.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy William Wolfe and his siblings, Jean Pyles, James Wolfe, Alton Wolfe, Charles Wolfe, Allen Wolfe, Karen Swisher and Teena Wolfe.

He is survived by his wife, Emily (Baker) Wolfe, his children, Tina Keller of South Riding, VA and Richard "Richie" Wolfe of Bristow, VA, and his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Samuel, Taylor, Joseph and Marcus and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Wolfe of Jessup, MD, Ronald Wolfe of Augusta, WV, Joanna Wolford of Augusta, WV, Shirley See of Yellow Springs, WV, Carolyn Jane Roberts of Great Falls, Montana, and Kay Fitzwater of Gore, VA.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, WV.  The family will receive friends one hour prior.  Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Augusta, WV. Military rites will be accorded by the U.S. Army.
