Richard Francis Tochterman, 83, of Augusta, WV passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester VA.

Born on November 25, 1942 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James Tochterman and Elizabeth (Smith) Tochterman.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Tochterman.

He is survived by his wife, Linda E. Casper, his sons, James Casper (Miller) of Stephens City, VA, Scott Casper (Jennifer) of Baltimore, MD, and Brandon Casper (Angela) of Chesterfield, Michigan, 4 grandchildren, and a sister, Linda Haghgoo of Texas.

Services are private and handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta WV.
