Pete Burgess, 63, of Augusta, WV passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Evergreen Nursing and Rehab, Winchester, VA.

Born on November 11, 1961 in Manassas, VA, he was the son of the late Herbert E. Burgess and Betty Mae (Hurst) Burgess.

He is survived by his siblings, Virginia Lang of Augusta, WV, Barbara Allen of Greenspring, WV, Cindy Kennedy of Middlesex, NC and Buster Burgess of Nokesville, VA.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, WV with Buster Burgess officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will be in Augusta Cemetery, Augusta, WV.
