Patti L. Cook of Fairfax Station, VA passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the age of 87.

Patti was a longtime member of Fairfax Baptist Church serving in numerous roles as Deacon, Nursery Attendant and food preparation whenever needed.

In her earlier years she was actively involved in the Springfield Forest Women's Club offering her leadership skills and creativity for many community fundraising projects in addition to being a Girl Scout Leader.

Patti was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her four children: Cathy Vermaas and husband Rich, Lisa Whitney and husband Richard, Greg Cook and wife Sonya and Doug Cook and wife Karen; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; in addition to her brother Steve Stanley and sister Sheila Underwood.

Visitation will be held at McKee Funeral Home, Augusta WV on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 1pm to 2pm. The funeral will commence immediately afterwards at Tearcoat Cemetery in Augusta, WV with Pastor David Bradfield officiating. Following the cemetery service, all are invited to attend Main Street Grill in Romney, WV where food will be provided.
