Patricia "Pat" Ann McKnew, 84, of Points, WV passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at her residence.

Born on February 19, 1940 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late William Brock and Phyllis Gloria (Weaver) Brock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. McKnew, in 2021. Survived by 3 children: David McKnew of Arnold, MD, William McKnew of Friendship, MD, and Susan Keck of Arnold, MD, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Patricia began playing piano at four years old and continued playing and teaching the rest of her life. She also loved to sing, particularly gospel music. With her family, she sang in countless churches over the years and self-published two gospel music cds. She enjoyed singing with the Hampshire County Honeybees and with residents of the Hampshire county nursing home. Other hobbies included painting, writing and gardening, often helping her late husband, George, cut hay for their cattle. She participated in 3 churches, the Ruritan Club and the Republican Tea Party. She loved the mountains, lifestyle and people of Hampshire County, her beloved husband of 62 years and her family. Most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with whom she will forever rest.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Grace Valley Baptist Church, Romney, WV with Pastor Kenneth Lake officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior.  Interment will be on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Annapolis, MD.
