Orvin Guy Hottinger, 69, of Baker, WV died Friday, July 5, 2024 at his home.

Born April 11, 1955, he was the son of Orvin Junior and the late Shirley Marie Dispanet Hottinger of Broadway, VA.  He was raised in the Broadway, North Mountain area.

On February 28, 1981, he married Ruby Lorene Funkhouser, who passed away on January 1, 2007.

Orvin was a very loyal and devoted father, son and husband. In addition to his father, he is survived by his son, Bryan Scott Hottinger, also of Baker, WV, and brother, Kevin Hottinger of Bonita Springs, Florida.  Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Orvin worked many years as a forklift operator for Walker Manufacturing in Harrisonburg, VA, retiring in 2020.  He enjoyed spending time with his son, father, and family and attending family gatherings. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Baker, WV with Pastor Richard Delawder officiating.  Interment will be in Zion Cemetery, Baker, WV.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
