Michael "Tyler"
Noonan
Mar 10, 1992 — Dec 8, 2025
Romney
Michael "Tyler" Noonan, 33, of Romney, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025.
Tyler was born in Winchester on March 10, 1992, at 3:18 AM. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and uncle. He was the son of Angela Wolford and Harry Noonan.
Tyler graduated from Hampshire High School where he took construction classes all 4 years. He was employed as a laborer and was hardworking. Tyler was especially known for his raw talent in any sport he played, especially basketball. His personality defined him and was best described by his friends and family as a charming, charismatic, spontaneous, fun-loving individual. Tyler loved spending time with his niece and nephews doing just about anything they asked. He loved his family, animals, crazy socks, tattoos, the color purple, and music. Music was a huge part of Tyler's life. Listening to music that he related to, got him through many hard days. Those who knew him felt he was one generous huge-hearted person. He wore a contagious smile and never met a stranger even during his difficult times. He deeply cared for others.
In addition to his parents, Tyler is survived by his brother, Cullen Noonan (Sierra Smith); his sister, Olivia Lee; maternal grandfather, Larry Wolford (Kay) and John Loy; his niece and nephews, Jasmyn, Braxton and Dane Noonan, all of Romney; sister, Victoria Noonan of Keyser; and by several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends who were blessed to know him. Tyler had an adopted family, Wayne, Lucas, and Emily Powers.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Barbara Loy, and paternal grandparents, James Noonan and Sarah Liller, and his best friend Drizzy (dog).
