Mary Louise Swisher Ganoe Haines, 77, of Augusta, WV passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at her home.

Born on October 8, 1948 in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late Orville M. Swisher and Juanita Fern (Haines) Swisher.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James F. Ganoe and a son, Gregory P. Ganoe.

She is survived by her husband, Paul G. Haines, a daughter, Carol "C.J." Hogan (Mike) of Augusta, WV and a son, Jamie S. Ganoe (Leslie) of Stephens City, VA, daughter-in-law, Lana Miller (Josh), bonus sons, Robert Haines (Darlene) of Springfield, WV, Wayne Haines (Joyce) of Augusta, WV and Michael Haines (Naomi) of Slanesville, WV a sister, C. Jane Hulce of Parkersburg, WV, a brother, Joseph Swisher of Crownsville, MD, 16 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Tearcoat Covenant Church of the Brethren with Pastor Jerry Eisenhour and Pastor Tom Rowan officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, 6-8pm, at the church and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.  Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Augusta Assembly of God Church or Tearcoat Covenant Church of the Brethren.
