Mary Elizabeth Dent, 72, of Augusta, WV passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 at her home.

Born on December 8, 1952 in Three Churches, WV, she was the daughter of the late Milton E. Watson and Virginia B. (Arnold) Watson.

Mary was a graduate of Hampshire High School, Romney, WV. She had worked at Kinney Shoe, Anchor Hocking Glass and as a clerk at Shamrock Market. Mary will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith Dent and a sister, Thelma Watson.

She is survived by her husband, Clyne Dent, a son, Jason W. Braithwaite of Hedgesville, WV, and her sisters, Bernice Rayner and Ruth Ann Loy, both of Romney, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Levels, WV with Pastor Denzil Davis officiating.  There will be no visitation.
