Marvin Scott Bohrer of Slanesville WV, passed away peacefully at his home on May 21, 2024 after a long battle with cancer.

Scotty was born on January 24,1969 to the late Marvin L. Bohrer and Donna M. Bohrer (Sirk) of Slanesville, WV. After graduating from Hampshire High School in 1987 he went on to marry the love of his life in 1988 and continued doing what he loved, logging and farming.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Michelle Lynn Bohrer, five beautiful children, Justine (Jimmy), Kelsey (JD), Shaylyn (Lee), Branden (Emily), and Bradley. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Mason, Archer, Ellie, and James, his mom, Donna Bohrer, two sisters, Missy (Craig), Julie (Josh), and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Marvin L. Bohrer, father and mother in law, Gavin Heare and Corrine Heare, and a brother in law, Darrell Heare.

Scotty dedicated his life to his family, friends, and farm. He will always be remembered by the loving, patient, strong, selfless, and funny guy that he was.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 3-8pm at the Community Fellowship Church in Points, WV. Funeral services will be private.
