Lucy "Tennel" Pancione, 91, of Augusta, WV passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Hampshire Memorial Long Term Care, Romney, WV with her son, Jeff and daughter- in-law, Pam by her side.

Born on June 8, 1933 in Romney, WV she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Lula (Dean) Kidwell of Shanks.  Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Joe C. Pancione, her two sisters, Charmell "Dumpy" Metcalf and Dorcus "Pinky" Corbin and her brother Marvin "Buddy" Kidwell.

She is survived in death by her sons Jeffrey Pancione (Pamela) and Joe Pancione Jr. (Sharon), grandsons, Joe Pancione III, Tyler Pancione (Janel), Orie Pancione (Shayla), Caleb Pancione (Beth), and great-grandchildren, Ivana, Idalynn, Ilizah, Iversen Joe, Ryker, Reece, Rynn, Everly, Ember, and Elyse.

Tennel was a homemaker, worked as a receptionist for Dr. Palmer and was a school bus operator for Hampshire County Schools. She had a very competitive nature paired with a love for baseball, bowling, and playing cards.  She was very artistic and could often be found painting, sewing, crocheting, or quilting. She was also a lifelong member of the Augusta Church of Christ.

Her family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at the Hampshire Memorial Long Term Care Unit for their love and support while she was in their care.

Respecting her wishes, family and friends will be gathered for a small graveside service on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Augusta Cemetery, Augusta, WV.

She went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
