Lois Genene Updike, 69, of Springfield, WV passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at her home.

Born on September 11, 1955 in Clarksburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Walter Titchenell and Geraldine (DeWitt) Titchenell.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Updike, on Jan. 16, 2024.

She is survived by her children, Christopher Rutherford of Cumberland, MD, Brandi Lovelace of Winchester, VA, Craig Buckley of Winchester, VA, her siblings, James Titchenell of Mt. Savage, MD, Mary Ann Bucy of Cumberland, MD, a niece, Jennifer Trenum of Springfield and nephew, James Logan, both of Springfield, WV, and a granddaughter, Hali Rutherford of Short Gap, WV.  Lois will be missed by her family and loving friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, 10-11am, at McKee Funeral Home, Romney, WV.  A graveside service will be on Friday at 1:00 PM at Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester VA with Pastor Alan Morrison officiating.
