Linette Marie Jacobs, 83, of Romney, WV passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney, WV.

Born on August 16, 1941 in Takoma Park, MD, she was the daughter of the late Herbert I. Frye and Grace (Kingman) Frye.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman E. Jacobs, Sr. in 2015 and her brothers, Roy James Frye and Herbert James Frye.

She is survived by her children, Estalla Lee Welch of Berkeley Springs, WV, Charles Fiske of Indianapolis, IN, and Ivy JoAnn Jacobs-Westover of Martinsburg, WV, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Linette enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, watching old westerns and loved her cats. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, WV with Pastor Shawn Bamber officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will be in Indian Mound Cemetery, Romney, WV.
