Linda Louise Bennett, 73, Of Shanks, WV passed away on Thursday March 19, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family while under the care of Hospice.

Born on February 2, 1947 in Springfield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Blair A. Long and Dolly V. McDonald Long.

Linda was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She was a graduate of Romney High School, Class of 1964.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy David Bennett, Sr. on July 18, 2006, and also by a brother, Danny Long and a sister, Barbara Cupp.

Surviving are seven children, Kelly Hinkle of Front Royal, VA, Rebecca Bennett of Shanks, WV, Kristy Sargent of Augusta, Nancy Bennett of Romney, Stephanie Bennett of Winchester, VA, Roy David Bennett, Jr. of Moorefield, WV, Michael Bennett of Augusta, twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Rock Oak Cemetery near Baker, WV with Pastor Robert Combs officiating.

All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
