Kenneth Gene Adkins, 81, of Romney, WV passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 at the residence of his son.

Born on August 12, 1939 in Lorado, WV, he was the son of the late Belva Rice Adkins.

He served in the U.S. Navy.  He was a member of the Manila Church of Christ, Chapmanville, WV where he was an elder.  He retired from UPS as a supervisor.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia June Varney Adkins, a son, Gregory Scott Adkins of Romney, WV, a grandson, Cody Wylde of New Creek, WV, 3 great-granchildren, Alexzander Luke Adkins, Kiera Taylor Adkins and Allana Monroe Reczek, all of Romney, WV, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Services will be announced at a later date.

All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
