Kathryn N. "Kay" Davis, 83, of Augusta, WV passed away on Thursday April 29, 2021 in Hampshire Memorial Long Term Care, Romney, WV.

Born on August 6, 1937 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Jensen Gillison.

Kathryn worked for the WV Dept. of Highways as a secretary for many years. She loved to travel and was a member of the Democratic Club. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margie Rosenthall and her companion of over forty years, Robert H. "Bob" Walker.

Surviving are four children, Ted Lee Davis (Paula), Kathy L. Alderman, all of Augusta, WV, Debra K. Hiett (Marty) of Bloomery, WV,  Glenn Davis (Jodi) of Nebraska, seven grandchildren, Gwen Strawderman, Brian Davis, Mandy Porter, Samuel Alderman, Brent Hiett, Tyler Hiett, Brandy Davis, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday May 2, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta with Pastor Denzil Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Malick Cemetery, Augusta, WV.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
