Kathleen Jean "KP" Souder, 93, of Capon Bridge, WV passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Hampshire Center, Romney, WV.

Born on June 17, 1931 in Augusta, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. Roberson and Agnes E. (Poling) Roberson Foltz.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgel H. Souder, a son, Donald Perrell, her siblings, Betty R. Barr, Etta R. Davis, Phyllis R. Calabris and a granddaughter, Taylor Michael.

She is survived by her children, Karen Burgess (George) of Maerertown, VA, Lois Perrell of Petersburg, WV, Mitzi Hamilton of Gordonsville, VA, Cheryl Davis (Ronald) of Rio, WV, Terri Young (Jeff) of Petersburg, WV, Lyndell Perrell of Romney, WV, 5 grandchildren, Shenandoah Michael (Kenny), Brook Michael (Jason), both of Rio, WV, Sarah Henry (Lee) of Gordonsville, VA, William Hamilton (Stephanie) of Stephens City, VA, Hannah Perrell of Winchester, VA, 6 great-grandchildren, Morgan Michael, Hailey Michael, Brynley Michael, Trevor Henry, Ryleigh Henry, Chloey Henry, one great-great grandchild, Tiana Henry-Wade and her sisters, Lenora Lewis of Aurora, CO and Rossetta Garlic of NY.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Delray Church of Christ, Delray, WV with Pastors Dave Webster and Burl Charlton officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8pm at McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV and from noon until time of service at the church.
