Karla Ellen Wolford, 59, of Romney, W. Va passed away on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025 at Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney.

Born on March 21, 1966 in Romney, she was the daughter of Shirley Ellen (Haines) Kesner of Romney, WV and the late Carl Glen Wolford.

Karla was a graduate of Hampshire High School, Romney.  She worked as a CNA offering care to anyone she could.  Karla will be missed by all who knew her and fondly remembered as a loving friend, mother, and grandmother.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her children, Michael Paul Haymond, Carl Haymond, Ashley N. Haymond, all of Romney, and Tonya R. Haymond of Cumberland, Md and grandson, Jordan Haymond who she raised; her siblings, Carl Glenn Wolford, David Wolford, both of Romney, Stacy Wolford Barnes of Burlington, and Bo Kesner of Shanks, 9 grandchildren including a special grandchild, Brianna Haymond and her companion, Ronald M. Barb of Three Churches.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, Nov. 10, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at McKee Funeral Home, Romney, WV.  The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m.
