Julia Ann Bohm, 86, of Gore, VA passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026 at the home of her daughter, Linda McDonald, in Gore, VA.

Born on September 19, 1939 in Staten Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph Barnas and Edna (Lechthaler) Barnas.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Ashby and second husband, Delbert Bohm, an infant daughter, Lisa Ashby, 2 grandchildren, Cassia and Jordynn, one brother and three sisters.

She is survived by her children, Sandra Fattorusso of Nappanee, Indiana, Linda McDonald of Gore, VA, and Norman Ashby, Jr. of White Post, VA, her grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, Luke, Daniel, Ben, Timothy, Dylan, Jaedynn and Meghan, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home Augusta, WV with Jeremy Fattorusso officiating.  Interment will be at Old Bethel Cemetery, Romney, WV.  The family will receive friends on Monday evening, 6-8pm, at the funeral home.

Julia was a lady of adventure and loved to travel. Her life was centered around her family and she was especially proud of her family. She served on the Board of Domestic Violence in Martinsburg, WV and was a member of the Women of the Moose, Perth Amboy, NJ.
