Juanita Yowell, 81, of Paw Paw, WV passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney, WV.

Born on June 23, 1944 in Howard Co., MD, she was the daughter of the late Enoch Derrick and Dorothy (Monroe) Derrick.

Anna had been employed as a secretary for the Hampshire Co. Health Dept.  She was a member of the Romney Women's Club and in her spare time enjoyed jogging, walking, and collecting dolls.  She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren were her greatest joy in life.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Douglas and Enoch Derrick, and a granddaughter, Julie.

She is survived by her husband, Carl L. Yowell, her son, Wayne Yowell (Joan) of Ellicott City, MD, a grandchild, Jodi, and 4 sisters, Gertrude, Joan, Ellen and Marie.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, WV with Pastor Robert Jeffreys officiating.
