Juanita "Dawn" Crounse, 45, of Paw Paw, WV passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA  while bravely battling cancer.

She was born March 3, 1979 in Woodstock, VA. Dawn was the daughter of the late Andrew Crounse and Louella M. Beyer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Henry Beyer, Sr. and future mother-in-law, Barbara Largent.

Dawn is survived by her son, Andrew Betson, sister, Dottie (Don) Waybright, fiancée, David Largent Jr., a very special cousin, Rebecca (Ken) Pracht, future father-in-law, David Largent, Sr., all of Paw Paw, future sister-in-law, Amanda (Jake) Fleming of Bunker Hill, nephews, Cory Waybright of Paw Paw, Hunter Fleming, Will Fleming of Bunker Hill, WV,  nieces, Shaylyn Riggleman of Keyser, WV and Dakota Blackburn of Missouri, many cousins and childhood friend, Diana (Donald) Minor.

David and Andy were the lights of her life and her unwavering devotion to them knew no bounds. She loved animals, to have fun, and her laughter was contagious. She was always kind, generous, loving, and compassionate—willing to help anyone in need.

Dawn worked for the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail where she was a food service supervisor. She previously was the manager at Fox's Pizza and Dairy Queen in Romney.

Dawn will be greatly missed by all those that loved her. Our hearts are broken but we are rejoicing she is in the arms of Jesus, pain-free. Dawn was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Paw Paw Christian Center, Paw Paw, WV.
