Josephine "Jo" Lambert, 83 of Romney transitioned peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and welcomed in heaven by her twin sons and great-grandson Devon. was born on May 28, 1942, at home on Neils Run, Bethal, WV. She was a 1960 graduate of Paw Paw High School. Jo lived in Levels, WV for many years and worked at the shoe factory in Romney, WV. She later became a teacher's aide for Hampshire County BOE where she retired after 30 years of service. She often spoke of the children and loved knowing she touched many lives. Her hobbies included collecting antiques and Longaberger baskets. She also loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lula and Garland Moreland, two brothers and six sisters. Jo is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Roger Lee Lambert, a brother Giles "Roger" Moreland. Children Melissa (Adam) Raines, Ronald (Dana) Lambert, Lisa (Stanley) Miller and John (Tammy) Lambert.  Grandchildren Bryan, Rachel, Sarah, Allie, Isaak (Shawna), Alec, Tanner, Hannah (Derek) Tori and Ben (Savanah). Great-grandchildren Laveya, Alycia, Samara and Clayton.

A private service will be held at a later date. The family requests donations to be made in Jo Lambert's memory to a charitable organization of your choice.
