John Randolph Turner, 67, of Romney, WV passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Dawn View Center, Fort Ashby, WV with his daughter and sister by his side after losing his battle to cancer.

Born on January 27, 1957 in Romney, WV he was the son of the late Homer & Alma Turner.

John worked on a orchard for many years then became a truck driver, later working at TIre Distributor in Romney before retiring.  He never met a stranger, he was a kind and caring man and a loving father and grandfather, he will be deeply missed  and loved by all who knew him.

Preceded in death by his parents and a sister Pam Turner.

Surviving is his beloved daughter Susan (Rob) Tate of Romney, sister Patty (Dick) of Romney, four grandchildren Joseph and wife Elizabeth, Jennifer and husband Joe, Janeen  and Robert, one great grandson Owen, Several nieces, nephews and special friends, Jenny and Imogen.

John wanted everything to be private and his daughter will honor his wishes.

His family would like to thank Dawnview for their love, care and support while John was in their facility.
