Obituary

John Allen Richardson, 67, of Romney, WV went to Heaven to live out eternity with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA after a long and courageous fight with lung cancer.

John was a kind and amazing husband, father, and Paw Paw. His family was the reason he fought so hard to hold onto life. He was a friend to all who knew him and they could always come to him for anything.
Born on June 2, 1953 in  Princeton, WV, he was the son of the late Clenon Dean and Thelma Josephine Richardson.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Scotty Richardson.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Terri, two sons, David Richardson (Stephanie) and Keith Richardson (Dani), both of Romney, WV, and the lights of his life, his 6 grandsons, Jordan, Parker, Bryson, Caden, Eli, and Kane; brothers; Dean (Sharon) Richardson, Charles Richardson, Gene (Donna) Richardson, Ronnie (Dreama) Richardson, Jimmy (Debbie) Richardson and Jerry (Elaine) Richardson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Covenant Baptist Church, Romney WV with Pastor Dale Myers officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
