Jimmie Dale Stafford, 71, of Shanks, WV passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on November 27, 1949 in Louisville, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Alvin Leo Stafford and Ofene Williamson Stafford.

He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.  He was a member of the Capon Bridge V.F.W. and the Delray Christian Church.  He had worked as a line operator for O'Sullivans for 41 years.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Siras Stafford.

He is survived by a son, James "Glenn" Stafford (Peggy) of Delray, WV, a daughter Misty Mulledy (Todd) of Points, WV, grandchildren, Austin Hott, Dillon Stafford, Amber Stafford, Dustin Hott, Dalton Northcraft, Declan Mulledy and one great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Stafford.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Green Lane Cemetery, Delray, WV with Pastor Jed Metzler officiating.  Military rites will be accorded by the U.S. Army.

All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
