Jay Stanton Anderson, 72, of Augusta, WV passed away on Monday January 20, 2020 at his home.

Born on March 31, 1947 in Somerset, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph A. Anderson and Opal Ruth Smith Anderson.

Jay was an iron worker until retirement. He was a Vietnam veteran, and a member of the AF& AM Lodge 554 in Meyersdale, PA.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Mitchem and Marcia Frazee. He was the last member of his immediate family.

Surviving  is Sheryl Anderson who gave him three wonderful children, two daughters, Alta Renee Anderson of Hermitage, TN, Cara Lynn Noel of St. Cloud, FL and a son, Judson Kyle Anderson of Pittsburgh, PA.

All services were private and being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
