Jane Yvonne Moyer, 48, of Stanley, VA passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Blue Ridge Hospice in Winchester, VA. She was the daughter of Alice Knott Pratt of Harrisonburg, VA and the late William Carl "Billy" Rohlffs.

Jane was born August 21, 1975 in Harrisonburg, VA. She was a graduate of Turner Ashby High School, class of 1993. She studied at Blue Ridge Community College.

Jane held a variety of short term jobs but her love was crafts. She created many handcrafted items which she sold and gave as gifts. She donated many of her crafts to the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry to Children.

She did much research in family genealogy and organized it into booklets for the family. Jane also knew how to care for plants, which she enjoyed growing, and gave advice on how to care for them to all who asked. Jane had a gift for photography and enjoyed taking pictures of wildlife, flowers and nature.

On February 22, 1995 she married Chad Moyer, who survives. She is also survived by their three children, Kelsey Annmarie Moyer of Shenandoah, VA, Hannah Louise Moyer and Mark Henry Moyer both of Stanley, VA. She is also survived by a sister, Tonya Renee Poole of Mt. Crawford, VA.

A celebration of Jane's life will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 1:30 pm at the American Legion in Luray, VA. Jane loved bright colors and requested for everyone to wear happy colors.  Come share your memories and a pot-luck covered dish meal with family and friends.
