James Yost White, 72, of Green Spring, WV passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at his residence.

Born on November 16, 1951 in Elkins, WV, he was the son of the late Hobart S. White and Ada B. (Poling) White.

He enjoyed collecting model cars and was an old car enthusiast. He enjoyed working on his hobby farm but his greatest joy in life was his family.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters. He was the last member of his immediate family.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra D. (Marsh) White, his daughters, Marcia White of Green Spring, Erin Hutson (Mike) of Germantown, MD, Sami Nelson of Green Spring, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 320 Jersey Mt. Rd, Romney WV. A reception will follow at Springfield Volunteer Fire Dept., Springfield, WV.
