James Andrew Taylor, 70, of Delray, WV passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at his residence.

Born on January 27, 1956 in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of the late Andrew James Taylor and Jeanette L. (Furman) Taylor.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Jeanette.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Taylor, his daughters, Alice Black (Randy) of Augusta, WV and Pristene Howard,god-daughter, Lisa Jean of Maryland, and 3 grandchildren, Arek Black (Anna), Rhiannon Black (Steven) and Druen Black.

James was an Ironworker and he loved motorcycles.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Hope Christian Church, Augusta, WV with Arek Black officiating.

All arrangements are handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
