James Allen Combs, 74, of Baker, WV passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on September 14, 1946 in Baker, WV, he was the son of the late Allean DWart Combs and Daisy Ellen Smith Combs.

He served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam and Korea.  He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 2102 of Wardensville, WV and a member of Zion Lutheran Church.  He was an electrician.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Saul and an infant sister, Ruby Iris Combs.

He is survived by his sisters, Janet M. Dove of Baker, Shirley Y. Henrikson of Moorefield, WV, Geraldine Spradling of Kentucky, and step-daughters, Uraina Kremer of Baker, WV and Cherlyn Combs-Morgan of California.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at Zion Lutheran Church, Baker, WV with Pastor Gary Koontz officiating.   The family will receive friends one hour prior.
