Helen Louise Helman Corbin, 86, of Augusta, WV passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on January 2, 1940 in Augusta, WV, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Saville and Dona (Everett) Saville.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Helman and her second husband, Calvin Corbin, her sons, Mark and David, and an infant son, Larry W. Helman and her siblings, Jean Rinker, Lola Grapes, John Saville, Russell "Joe" Saville, and George Saville and an infant brother, Ralph Edward.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Smoot, of Augusta, WV, sisters, Susie Kidner of Romney, WV, Judy Iser of Romney, and Alma McDonald of Gore, VA.

Helen had worked at Kinney Shoe, Mt. Top, and Pilgrims. She was a member of Augusta Assembly of God Church.  She enjoyed baking and cooking.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, WV with Pastor Gerald Whitacre officiating.  Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney WV. The family will receive friends on Monday, 6-8pm.
