Hansel Lee "Hank" Keister, 52, of Woodstock, VA, formerly of Romney, WV, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on June 11, 1971 in Warrenton, VA, he was the son of the late Maynard Max Keister and Emma "Katy" (Ganoe) Keister.

Hank was an avid wrestling fan and loved fishing.  He never missed a yard sale and enjoyed shopping at Square Circle Collectibles in Winchester, VA.  He was known as a jokester and his family was his pride and joy.

Along with his mother, Hank is survived by his loving wife, Tina Marie (Utt) Keister, his step-children, whom he lovingly called his own, Brooklynn Teeple and boyfriend Greg Mascia, Dylan Teeple and Cody Plott, granddaughters, Braelynn Teeple and Emma Plott whom he adored, a brother, William "Peanuts" Keister (Tracy) a sister, Beverly Fincham (Lee), brother-in-law, Wes Utt (Donna) and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

Along with his father, Hank was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edwin and Elsie Keister, Irvin and Estella (Ganoe) Buckley, and his in-laws, Richard and Barbara Utt.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, 115 E. Birch Lane, Romney, WV at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Tom Rowan officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior.  Interment will be in Old Bethel Cemetery, Romney, WV.
