Gloria Jean Moreland, 74, of Paw Paw, WV passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at her residence.

Born on December 13, 1950 in Berkeley Springs, WV, she was the daughter of the late Chauncey Whitacre and Ila (Kidwell) Whitacre.

Gloria was a graduate of Paw Paw High School, Class of 1968. She attended Lighthouse Assembly of God Church.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and her family was her pride and joy.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rodger D. Moreland, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Stephanie Hall, Robert Moreland (Tabitha), a daughter-in-law, Leslie Moreland, all of Paw Paw, WV, 4 grandchildren: Michaela, Alexis, Ezekiel, and Matthew, and her siblings, Eileen Britton, Connie Baber, Neil Whitacre, and Beverly Kerns, all of Paw Paw, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, Paw Paw with Pastor Earl Travis officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will be in Woodrow Cemetery, Paw Paw, WV.
