Gladys C. Timbrook, 101, of Baltimore, MD, formerly of Hampshire Co., WV, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Lighthouse Senior Living, Essex, MD.

Born on May 11, 1922 in Hanging Rock, WV, she was the daughter of the late John D. Cheshire and Nora E. (Potter) Cheshire.

She retired from At&T.  She was a member of Gleaner Order of the Eastern Star, No. 49.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leroy Cheshire, John E. Cheshire, Clarence Cheshire, Thurl Cheshire and an infant brother, Russell Cheshire and her husband, Allen V. Timbrook.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta WV with Pastor Michael Cheshire officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.  Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, WV.
