George Allen "Peachie" Kesner, 78, of Romney, WV passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at his home.

Born on January 7, 1946 in Romney, WV, he was the son of the late Casper and Irene (Combs) Kesner.

Peachie retired after 35 years as a team leader at Abex/Federal Mogul.  He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandkids.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances O. (Jordan) Kesner on March 13, 2015, a son, George Allen Kesner, Jr. in 2013, and his siblings, Charles Robert, Chester Eugene, Albert Brooks, Elburn Leroy, Russell, Virgil, Ernest, Casper and Elizabeth Whitacre.

He is survived by his daughter, Christina R. "Tina" Corbin of Newnan, GA, a son, B. Scott Kesner of Stephens City, VA, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and his siblings, Richard Kesner of Romney, WV, Dorothy Pratt of Romney, WV, Johnny Blaine Kesner (Laurine) of Winchester, VA, Patricia Riggleman (Roger) of Maysville, WV, Steve Kesner (Carolyn) of Augusta, WV and Don Kesner (Myra) of Shanks, WV.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Community Church, Augusta WV with Pastor Don Kesner officiating.  Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, WV. The family will receive friends on Friday, 6-8pm, at McKee Funeral Home, Augusta WV.
