Gary L. Kenney, 80, of Shanks, WV passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at his residence.

Born on March 28, 1941 in Fort Ashby, WV, he was the son of the late Clarence L. Kenney and Dorothy E. Shrock Kenney.

He was a body shop foreman for Kern Motor Co., Winchester, VA.  He was a car enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Lena Mae Mongold Kenney , a daughter Sharon K. Timbrook of Shanks, WV, a son, Scott Kenney of Slanesville, WV  sisters, Sandra Shanholtz of Romney, WV and Judith Fridley of Cary, NC,  a brother, Ronald Kenney of Fort Ashby, WV, grandchildren: Judy Lynn Sardo, Brandon L. Timbrook, Nathan A. Timbrook, Candace Kenney, and great-grandchildren: Trevor, Carlina, Dominic, Caiden, Macie, Audrey and Rae'Lynn.

All services will be private and handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
