F. Wayne Lupton, 95, of Kirby, WV passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney, WV.

Born on May 8, 1930 in Rio, WV, he was the son of the late Frederick Lupton and Lucy (Heare) Lupton.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Una (Haines) Lupton, whom he married on June 26, 1950.  He was the last member of his immediate family.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Lupton, his sisters, Maxine Haines, Mary Pracht, Violet Smith, and Betty Byrant.

Along with his wife, he is survived by 5 daughters, Margaret Rog (Marion) of Morgantown, WV, Joyce Bingham of Augusta, WV, Nancy Poland of Kirby, Cinda Bowman (Rod) of Kirby, Karen Hott (Tom) of Augusta, WV, 3 sons, Dannie Lupton (Christine) of Rio, WV, Rick Lupton of Kirby, Freddy Lupton (Glenda) of Moorefield, WV; 14 grandchildren: Becky Rog, Angela Rog, Anthony Lupton, Jody Abrell (Jimmy), Betty Lupton, Nancy Merson, Tracy Hott (Michael), Renee Pownall (Tom), Corrina Reynolds (Rob), Nikki Campbell (Kylle), Richie Lupton (Tara), James Hott (Joanne), Ashley Lupton, Kim Lupton, 30 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Edna Haines and several nieces and nephews.

Wayne retired from Eastern Building in Romney in 1995. He was a member and trustee of Bethel Baptist Church, Kirby, WV. He was a Little League coach in the 1960's and then coached the Kirby men's baseball team and the men's and women's softball teams for several years.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at McKee Funeral Home from 5-8pm.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 at McKee Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor John Vetter officiating.  Interment will be in Rio Cemetery, Rio, WV.
