Ethel Mae Funk, 71, of Moorefield, WV passed away on Thursday May 14, 2020 at Adler Center in Aldie, VA.

Born on January 21, 1949 in Rockingham Co., VA, she was the daughter of the late Acie and Irene (Dove) Whetzel.

Ethel was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She was Protestant by faith.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gary R. Funk in 2019. She was also preceded by five siblings.

Surviving are three sons, Gary R. Funk Jr. of Rio, WV, Richard L. Funk of Broadway, VA, Randy L. Funk of Moorefield, WV, seven siblings, Elaine Fulk of Broadway, VA, Brenda Shaffer of Timberville, VA., Buddy Whetzel of Crider, VA, Wayne Whetzel & Earl Whetzel both of Broadway, VA, Melvin Whetzel of Mathias, WV, Shorty Whetzel of Mt. Crawford, VA., seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Due to the Covid 19, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
